| Information | Most of my personal work falls within the Documentary tradition which I characterize as social landscape - everyday scenes of people and places that capture a meaningful moment or make a statement about our society and our social life. I am also an academic and earned my Ph. D. in 1992 at the University of Iowa’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in visual communication. I have taught at the college level for the last fifteen years. One man show, Visual Communication Quarterly, Jan., 1998. Most recently, “Street Tableau” was selected as a finalist in the Best of Photography Annual 2007 (Santa Barbara CA: Serbin Communications, 2007.) "Venus," has been selected by juror Michelle Dunn Marsh, Director of Aperture West, for inclusion in the exhibit "Street Photography" at The Center for Fine Art Photography, Ft. Collins, CO in March-April, 2008. | |
